The Crown & Anchor Tickton, my local, is a traditional English country pub in Weel, on the outskirts of Beverley. Serving traditional dishes aswell as well-recieved Sunday lunches, Crown & Anchor, situated along Hull River, is a picturesque family owned pub that supports local businesses by sourcing its produce as closely as possible, even serving Jeremy Clarsksons Hawkstone Lager on draught. Various events including a weekly Pub Quiz, special food deals, Kareoke nights and Live bands keep the pub lively and leave customers, many of whom are locals, occupied and satisfied and serves as a great place for the Tickton community to convene.
