Maxine Peake was directing a personal project for the BBC called "The Last Testiment of Lillian Billocca", the story of a windower of a fisherman in 1960s Hull, a rough but significant patch of british history. I was invited to shoot behind the scenes photos for production documentation, so after filming was wrapped I sent all what I shot to the producer.

Being given an opportunity like that at 16, still fresh into photography was incredible and shaped my etiquette going forward, capturing photos I remain proud of.
